Romans 6-8


Romans 6 - Death and Resurrection through Baptism
Paul lays out the concept that through water baptism we identify with the death and resurrection of Jesus. WE died and WE were raised again "to live a new life."


Romans 7 - The Struggle Against Sin
This is one of the most debated chapters in Paul's writings. It appears that he is speaking autobiographically about his own struggle against the "sin nature."


Romans 8 - Living the Spirit-filled Life
Following his chapter on death and resurrection with Christ and then describing the struggle we have with selfishness (sin nature), he moves on to urge us to live the Spirit-filled life.
